The sixth-generation Ford Taurus is based on the Volvo-derived D3
platform that was also shared with the Lincoln MKS. Our
all-original, one-owner 2011 Taurus SEL is a garage kept example of
this fine sedan. Both the Ingot Silver Metallic exterior, accented
with 18" aluminum alloys w/Michelin radials, and the Light Stone
cloth interior are in close to factory condition. The Taurus is
powered by Ford's naturally-aspired 3.5L V6, a mainstay of their
full-size models, backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission
w/paddle shifters and the AdvanceTrac front-wheel drive system. The
Ford Taurus is configured with four-wheel independent suspension
featuring MacPherson struts, coil-over shocks and a front
stabilizer bar. This Taurus SEL is also equipped with power
steering, ABS 4-wheel disc brakes and a host of other safety and
convenience features including the SOS Alert System, reverse
