This 2002 Pontiac Firehawk Trans Am SLP has 18,863 actual miles
and, with extensive upgrades, is faster, handles better and stops
quicker. The 5.7-liter engine has an LS3 stroker kit with forged
internals, a custom grind cam, port polished heads, MSD ignition
packs, high-volume fuel rails and injectors, big-bore polished
throttle body and polished mass airflow sensor. It has Texas Speed
long tube headers and MagnaFlow exhaust with QTP electric cutouts.
The 6-speed manual transmission uses and Exedy Stage 3 clutch set
and billet short-throw shifter. The rear end runs 3:42 gears and
Auburn posi-traction upgraded axles. The suspension was replaced
with a BMR Level 3 kit with rear control arms, trailing arms, front
control arms, subframe, Panhard bar, strut tower bar, front and
rear sway bars, H&R race springs, Bilstein struts and Energy
bushings. Brakes were upgraded with Brembo vented slotted rotors
