Based on Ford's large and ever popular Expedition, the Navigator
was Lincoln's take on the full size luxury SUV. The third
generation hit the market in 2007m and featured a number of
upgrades as well as the introduction of a longer Navigator L model
that featured a 12in wheelbase stretch for extra cargo and
passenger room. A 310hp 5.4L V8 and 6-speed automatic transmission
were standard and was capable of towing up to 9,000lbs.
