Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet Blazer has undergone an 18-month, full
frame-off restoration with no expense spared. This truck is powered
by a solid 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins diesel engine with P-pump
with all-new seals and gaskets, new 100b injectors, big delivery
system, pump timing, killer dowel pin, 1-wire alternator, new
aluminum dual pass radiator with dual electric fans, new steering
box and pump, new transmission cooler, new turbo intercooler, new
front and rear custom driveshaft, new 19-gallon Boyd Welding fuel
tank and new Classic Instruments gauge cluster. It is pushed by a
rebuilt Dodge 618 automatic transmission mated to a rebuilt 205
transfer case. It is riding on a new 4" suspension lift with 20"
Fuel Vandal wheels wrapped in new Nitto Terra Grappler tires. This
truck spent its whole life in the dry desert of Arizona until it
was sold and was sent to Wyoming for its restoration. It started as
a rust-free vehicle and retains its original sheet metal. It has a
show-quality finish with PPG paint and powder-coated inner fenders
and hood hinges. The tub and inside of the doors have been
LizardSkinned and then Dynamatted for sound deadening. It has
all-new body trim, glass, weatherstripping and carpet, and
reupholstered original seat frames with new foams. It also has a
new RetroSound radio with rear quarter speakers. Nothing has gone
untouched or overlooked on this truck.
