STK 2542 1972 BMW 2002 Vintage Race Car
This 1972 BMW 2002 sedan was 100% professionally built from the
ground up and then campaigned by the same driver/owner for the last
13 years. It is a proven racecar that qualifies for competition in
the B-Sedan class of the SVRA Vintage Race Series and also conforms
to 'B-Series 1969-1972' specs. The 2002 has competed at many tracks
around the country including Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Sebring,
Summit Point, Indy, Mid-Ohio and COTA-F1. It has been prepared and
maintained by APEX Vintage Racing, Raleigh, NC and in its last 37
races this consistent BMW 2002 B-Sedan has placed: 1st (19); 2nd
(6); 3rd(7). In 2018, the BMW earned an SVRA Region B-Sedan
Championship and a 2nd place in the SVRA Nationals awarded at
Austin, TX. We cannot begin to list all of the features of this BMW
