Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1969 Chevrolet Nova.
This nova has undergone a thorough restoration and shows well.
These in cars were originally known as the Chevy II with the Nova
being the top model in the lineup. Starting just before this one
was produced the Chevy II name was dropped and from '69-79 they
were known as the Nova. This one is powered by a stout 396 CID V8
that has no issues running through the powerband. It's been paired
up to a 4-speed automatic transmission with a Hurst ratchet
shifter, so you can have some fun with it as well. The coated
headers will always look good while they evacuate the spent
hydrocarbons and air through the custom dual exhaust system, and
the sound they help produce is awe-inspiring indeed. Keeping that
mill properly cooled is a massive aluminum radiator. A polished
serpentine belt drive system keeps the rest of the driven
accessories operating as they should. To control the power driven
to the ground this Nova features a 12-bolt rear end. This car is
also capable of stopping in a timely manner with the 4-wheel disc
brakes. The exterior is coated in a nice turquoise and shows great
in the sun. You will see that the paint follows all through the car
from the exterior through the engine bay and into the cab. You can
certainly take the car to your local car show and this would make
for a great conversation piece. The car sits atop of some Mickey
Thompson radial tires that are in like new condition with plenty of
rubber to lay down. The interior features black bucket seats and
partially original condition. There have been a few add-ons, so you
can monitor the vehicles performance more closely. Some Sport-Comp
gauges allow you to monitor your car and ensure it is performing
adequately. This car is ready to hit the streets and makes for a
great head turner. It will also keep cool on those summer days with
the cold blowing A/C as well. For more information on this 1969
