For Sale at Auction: 1970 Moto Guzzi Motorcycle in Scottsdale, Arizona
Moto Guzzi is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer and the oldest
European manufacturer in continuous motorcycle production. Founded
in 1921 by Carlo Guzzi, the company is noted for its historic role
in Italy's motorcycling manufacture, its prominence worldwide in
motorcycle racing and industry innovations - including the first
motorcycle center stand, wind tunnel and 8-cylinder engine. Powered
by a 750cc engine and a 4-speed manual transmission, this bike was
originally built for use as a California Highway Patrol cruiser.
After being retired from the force, it was purchased by a prominent
California attorney who represented many high-profile clients. He
had the bike restored in California by a facility that specializes
in pre-75 Guzzis. The restoration was a true nut-and-bolt project,
and the bike was painted in a theme as a tribute to one of his past
clients. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
