Vehicle Description
This 1969 Dodge D200 Sweptline is known as "Whiskey Bent." The
basis for this custom Dodge D200 was a 6-man crew cab, which was
transformed into a low-slung street. At the heart of the Dodge is a
small-block Mopar 360ci V8 engine backed by a 727 TorqueFlite
automatic transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive and a 9" Ford
rear axle. The V8 is equipped with Edelbrock Performance cylinder
heads, camshaft and intake manifold. The engine breathes into a
hand-fabricated air cleaner and out through ceramic-coated
manifolds and Flowmaster exhaust. The truck rides on a Roadster
Shop chassis with an independent front end 4-link rear suspension.
Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes scrub off speed behind the custom 20"
Boyd Coddington Hot Rod wheels shod with Continental tires. PPG
Western brown paint with flat accents leads the eye over the
Sweptline and into the one-of-a-kind textured wood bed.
Diamond-pleated and rivet-accented upholstery brings luxury to the
Dodge Intrepid power adjustable bucket seats and Dodge Ram center
console.
