This custom 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe is the product of a
5-year, frame-off, nut-and bolt restoration. It's powered by a
custom-built, modified 261ci GM Stovebolt engine that's shifted
through a completely rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. This
Deluxe is equipped with custom-built dual single Rochester
carburetors, new Fenton manifold and headers, Wayne valve covers,
new Hot Rod air conditioning and heating system and new custom
Borla exhaust. It's also equipped with a new Fat Man Mustang II
front end with 2-1/2" drop, Ford 8" rear end with 3.55 gears, front
disc brakes and a custom Lexus power brake booster. The exterior is
finished in new PPG Matte Black paint with silver blend and orange
stripes, chromed original front and rear bumpers, new glass and
rubber, and new vintage wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown
tires. The interior features new custom carpet, headliner and floor
mats, a custom-painted dash housing new Auto Meter gauges, new
Glide front seat, new Flaming River steering column topped with a
Con2r steering wheel, New Lokar peddles and handles, and a new
Pioneer custom audio system in the glovebox. This custom Chevy is
outfitted with many other new parts including K&N filters,
Flex-a-Lite fan and chrome air cleaners.
