Vehicle Description
This custom-built Ramcharger is powered by a 12-valve 5.9-liter
Cummins diesel engine backed by an automatic transmission. It
started as a rust-free Ramcharger and was fitted with a complete
drive train from a 1992 W250 4x4. The engine has been gone through
and runs well. It has never been turned up and has the dowel pin
prevention plate installed. This truck is custom inside and out.
The interior is all-new with custom pleated side panels, a new
carpet kit from front to rear, all-new upholstery including the
headliner, an AM/FM CD player and new speakers. This Ramcharger was
built using a top-of-the-line Skyjacker Soft Ride lift with their
deluxe shocks and steering dampening system. It also features an
Off Road Design crossover steering set up. The Dana 60 front and
Dana 70 rear axles have been overhauled to stock configuration and
upgraded with extra-capacity finned aluminum covers and all
suspension components have been powder-coated or professionally
painted. The entire braking system has been replaced with Napa
premium components, the driveshafts are custom built, the NP 205
transfer case has been rebuilt, the transmission has been serviced
and the oil pan upgraded with a drain plug. The custom one-off
bumper and roof rack were professionally built and feature
multiple-angle LED lighting with hidden wiring and are all
controlled by a custom illuminated switch panel mounted to the
interior roof. The rack has a weather pack plug in case it needs to
be removed. A custom ladder was made that can be used on the rear
or on the sides resting on the tires for easy loading access. The
ladder lower anchor point fold away. Under the front bumper there
is a hidden pull-down step for under-hood work. This Dodge also has
a new marine deep-cycle battery and custom 3.5" mandrel-bent
exhaust with 4.5" stainless tip. It retains its original panels
except for the hood, which was swapped for an '85 hood, and was
painted less than a year ago.
