Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1956 Pontiac Star Chief. The Star
Chief is a model that was manufactured by Pontiac between 1954 and
1966. It was Pontiac's top trim package on the Pontiac Chieftain,
with later generations built on longer wheelbases, and serving as
the foundation platform for the Pontiac Bonneville. The car was
easily identified by its chrome star trim along its sides, a
feature all Star Chiefs were equipped with. For 1956 the design was
lightly revised, with heavier looking bumpers and a vertical slash
on the front door above the swage line. This beautifully restored
specimen was is done in Bright red and White and looks amazing. The
chrome, and there's lots of it, is shiny and bright and the
interior is done in red and white to match and is in fantastic
shape with no rips or tears. Upgraded to a 383 V8 paired with a
700R automatic transmission and front power disc brakes and dual
custom exhaust, it drives as well as it looks! The sound system has
also been upgraded to an AM/FM CD. The dash is very nicely
repainted red and the chrome is also in great shape. All gauges are
either new or restored and the new Auto Meter gauges function as
they should. There are lots of receipts to back up this well
restored and maintained gem. This vehicle qualifies for an optional
90 day ASC drivetrain warranty. We can arrange shipping to your
location. If you have any questions, please call or text Savannah
