Only 1,064 copies were sold in 1936 making this car one of the rarest Buicks of its generation. This was the first year for the Roadmaster. The Convertible Phaeton was the most expensive and limited production Buick convertible available in 1936. Very few survive today.

This is a Full Classic� as rated by the Classic Car Club of American, defined as a "Fine" or "Distinctive" automobile produced between 1915 and 1948. It was also Lucy's car in a movie made for television "Lucy and Desi Before the Laughter".
