Vehicle Description
This Ford's restoration began with its original sheet metal being
stripped bare, and the car mounted to a large rotisserie and
thoroughly worked over the course of three years. Once the sheet
metal was aligned, Chestnut Metallic lacquer was fashioned around
tinted glass, a power-operated roof and original trim that has been
stripped, polished and anodized. This convertible is motivated by a
406/405hp V8 Ford big-bore engine pairing a correct C3AE-6015-V
casting number with correct Tri-Power induction, sending power
through a correct BorgWarner T10 4-speed manual transmission and 9"
Ford axle built with correct 3.50 gears. Included in this sale is a
photo album of the restoration.
