Vehicle Description
This 2007 Shelby GT Coupe is powered by a 4.6-liter engine with a
5-speed manual transmission and has 24,297 actual miles. It is
modified and badged for promotional and track use at several Shelby
events. In 2009 this Shelby GT was driven off the showroom floor
and raced at the Shelby bash in Las Vegas. Car #155, as it became
known, also participated in the 2010 event again besting several
GT500s. After some mild upgrades, including JBA headers, cold-air
intake, upgraded brakes, 20" Shelby razor wheels wrapped in Nitto
rubber and a lot of badging, #155 has been used for several Shelby
and motorsports events around the Southwest. Twice posting in
NASCAR's victory lane at PIR in 2011 and 2012. Bob Bondurant
hot-lapped and evaluated the car at his track in Chandler, AZ. The
hood is adorned with dozens of signatures from the World of Shelby,
including Carroll Shelby, his wife Cleo, grandson Aaron Shelby,
many of the original Cobra team members and drivers, including Bob
Bondurant and Allen Grant. Legendary drivers Parnelli Jones and Don
Prudhomme have also signed it. Longtime friend of Carroll and Cleo
Shelby, "Miss Hurst" Linda Vaughn, Bob Wood and John Sadler of GT40
fame, and Carroll's personal mechanic, the late Art Evans, have
also signed. Other signers are motorsports legends, celebrities and
people associated with Ford and Carroll Shelby.
