From 1974 through 1993 Dodge built the Ramcharger which was there
version of the Large SUV. Like the Chevrolet Blazer and the Bronco,
the Ramcharger was a 2 Door with a couple different V8 Engine
options in a RWD or 4X4 variant being offered. The early version or
first Generation of Ramchargers had the now sought after Removable
top. This particular killer example has just received a Cummins 12
Valve Turbo Diesel swap with 5-speed manual transmission and let me
tell you, it is incredible. In addition to the engine swap it
received a sand blasted frame, new paint, brake lines, brakes front
and rear, new high end soft top, Dick Cepek Tires, and Mickey
Thompson wheels. This truck has a Dana 60 front and 70 in the rear.
Let me tell you, this truck starts, runs and goes down the road
very well. It sounds awesome and gets looks from everyone. The
engine is very solid as is the transmission. The 4WD system works
as it should as do the lights. You could not come close to having
someone build this truck for the asking price.
