Long Description:  This authentic 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible is the real deal and a documented one owner car until 2011.  It’s currently a documented two owner car.  This car was verified in November 2018 by Chevelle expert Jerry MacNeish and a copy of his report is included.  As the VIN number indicates this car was born a 1970 Chevrolet Malibu 8 cyl 2-door convertible that was built in Baltimore, MD.  As documented this car was sold by Applegate Chevrolet located in Flint, MI.  It was purchased by Ronald Saari from Detriot, MI on May 7th, 1970.  The car retains its original color of Mist Green with black stripes and a black interior.  As stated in the Jerry MacNeish report, “Green Mist is one of the most desirable and rare colors for the Chevelle SS”.  It was ordered with soft-ray tinted glass, strato-bucket front seats, black convertible top, power convertible top, center console, posi-traction axle, 4-speed transmission, comfortilt steering wheel, power steering, stereo tape with AM radio, special instrumentation, cowl induction hood, export prep product and SS 396 equipment group.  Robert owned this car for 41 years before selling it in 2011.  The second owner had the car completely restored to show quality condition.  It was the product of a frame off restoration.   Unlike many Chevelles this car has tons of original documentation including the build sheet, window sticker, owner’s manual, consumer information pamphlet, warranty booklet, protector plate, dealership deposit receipt, GMAC installment sale contract, GMAC payment plan booklet, declaration of vehicle use tax form, SOO CO-OP credit union lien release, registrations from 1977 and 1978, insurance cards from 1971, 1973 and 1977and copy of title from owner selling car to second owner.  All of the documentation is included.  The exterior body is very straight and the seldom seen Mist Green paint is show quality.  The black stripes really complements it well.  The black convertible top works excellent.  The car sits on super sport wheels with the correct Firestone F70-14 tires.  The black vinyl interior is in beautiful condition.  The trunk compartment is very neat with a trunk mat, spare tire and tools.  The engine compartment is very detailed and home to the original-matching numbers 396/350HP V8.  It has many correct features throughout.  The engine runs and sounds great out the dual exhaust system.  The engine is coupled to the original-matching numbers 4-speed manual transmission.  The undercarriage is also very detailed and mirror quality.  It has been marked with the factory tags and markings.  It’s equipped with the correct F41 suspension and power brakes with front disc and rear drum setup.  This car has recently been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
