Vehicle Description
This is Serial #002 in the new series of Mr. Norm's continuation
vehicles, a 1968 Dodge Dart known as "BlowDart," which is part of
their new Resto-Mod series. The new owner's name will be added to
the original Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Registry. This Dart was
built using quality parts and the best of today's technology,
merged with the classic styling of the 1968 Dodge Dart. No detail
has been left undone in its design and construction. Well over
2,000 hours went into this the build. Powering this Dart is a new
Hellcat 6.2-liter V8 HEMI engine with a polished Kenne Bell
Supercharger system. To ensure maximum performance coupled with
reliability, a factory computer and wiring system were used. All
Mopar accessory drive parts were used on the front of the HEMI
engine. This potent powerhouse breathes easily thanks to TTI
headers and exhaust, and is backed up by a 4-speed 4L80E automatic
transmission. To maximize handling, it utilizes a Gerst front
coilover suspension. The rear suspension is a QA1 6-link setup. It
rides on one-off custom 18" and 20" wheels with new tires. Over 400
man-hours went into preparing the body for the modern base
coat/clear coat paint, which was color-sanded and buffed to a
mirror finish. Custom airbrushed graphics have been buried under
the clear. Additional features include lightning-rod shifters,
Vintage Air, large SSBC brakes, high-performance radiator,
high-performance supercharger cooling system, a nice audio
entertainment system and Dakota Digital gauges.
