1971 Porsche 914 1.8L.
Only 27,535 documented miles!
Black Leatherette Interior.
This captivating looking 914 comes in the very rare Willow Green color. The paint is in a great condition as the car enjoys a recent repaint. Both the front and the rear compartments are close to spotless, and the engine bay along with the “hell hole” look great! The underside looks extremely nice as well, and there are no signs of rust anywhere!
The Black Leatherette interior is very clean, and everything looks fresh and scuff free. The car still sports its original AM/FM radio.
The performance of this little Green daredevil is spot on as the car has always enjoyed thorough maintenance, which is documented via a folder full of receipts from 1979 - 2018. These receipts also document the incredible low mileage on this Porsche.
The car has spent almost its entire life in the warm and dry climate of Utah under the care of the first owner. An incredible long 45 year ownership, which is not only documented via the service records, but also by the Buyer’s Order from 1971 showing the buyer's name that matches all the receipts! In 2016, the car was sold to GA where it remained under the care of the second owner.
When the second owner took over, he completed an entire brake rebuild, and has installed a new hand brake assembly and a new shifter assembly. There were also other minor repairs and maintenance to bring this car to its solid operational status.
Upon receiving the car, we have performed a compression and leakdown test, and the numbers look great!

If you showed up at a Porsche club meeting even 20 years ago with a 914, you likely would be viewed as barely qualifying for membership.
At a recent Porsche club gathering, the talk was all about 914s as a number of the low, lean mid-engine sports cars from the early ’70s rolled into the parking lot.
The Porsche 914 is a model that was unloved and discounted by Porsche purists almost since its introduction.
The plan was to plop an air mattress in the 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 Microbus and sleep in a van down by the river. It wasn’t a good plan; it was hardly a plan at all. The Deluxe Station Bus painted orange and trimmed in white with white steel wheels and mirrored hubcaps contained three […]
