Dubbed "Black Gold," this custom 1972 GMC pickup was a complete
frame-off Resto-Mod build with no expense spared. Features include
a completely rebuilt 350ci engine with goodies to make it go fast.
The wicked Hilborn 8-stack fuel injection setup is sporting modern
electronic injection technology, along with high-quality detailing,
dressing, paint, and nickel plating. This pickup is truly one of a
kind. This GMC is equipped with custom Art Morrison Enterprises
4-bar, RideTech air-ride rear suspension, 12.5" Wilwood rear disc
brakes, 13" Wilwood disc front brakes, GM independent front
suspension with Belltech dropped spindles and QA1 shocks, and a
stock GMC steering box. It's riding on Forgiato Concavo wheels
wrapped in Nitto Invo tires. It has a custom gas tank and is
powered by a �72 GMC 350ci engine with aluminum Brodix Race-Rite
heads, finned aluminum valve covers, Hilborn electronic fuel
injection and MSD electronic ignition. This pickup also features
custom headers, mandrel-bent 2.5" stainless exhaust and muffler.
The engine is backed by a 700R4 Phoenix Performance automatic
transmission and a Retrotek Smart Shift shifter. Modifications
include shaved door handles, filled fuel door, drip rails removed,
marker lights filled, smoothed inner bed panels, custom exhaust,
modified stock grille and modified stock bed. The exterior features
include DuSold Designs PPG Jet Black paint, custom and stock
headlights and taillights and Sir Michaels bumpers. The interior
features a custom dashboard, AutoMeter gauges, Vintage Air, Kenwood
and JL Audio stereo setup, '57 Chevrolet steering wheel with
Flaming River steering column and custom seats in leather
upholstery.
