Vehicle Description
This Camaro is a factory Z/28, as noted on the Cowl trim tag. It
has had one refinish in its original color of Cortez Silver. It was
delivered to Yenko Chevrolet with black rally stripes, black
interior and Z/28 trim. The interior was simple with no radio or
console. A 12-bolt 3.73 ratio posi-traction rear end and a Muncie
4-speed manual transmission completed the package. It is presented
with a DZ 302ci engine and original parts installed by Yenko in
1969, Yenko upgrades include a Hurst shifter, signature Yenko
tachometer, high-performance Mallory ignition system, Yenko
line-lock, tuned Halley carburetor, lightweight Endura painted
front bumper, Yenko traction bars, the original Atlas/Cragar
magnesium wheels and remote gauge package. Other signature items
include an under-hood light that switches on and off from the
engine compartment and a remote cranking starter button to assist
in valve and point adjustment. This car has been kept in a
museum-like setting by its current owner and is roadworthy. It has
