Check out this piece of American history! This 1965 Shelby Daytona
continuation car built in 2015 by Superformance has around 3,500
miles since it was built and looks just as nice as the day it was
finished. The Shelby Daytona was built to compete against Ferrari
in 1964-1965 and took a few respectable titles. This Guardsman blue
with Wimbledon white stripes is the classic Daytona look and is
powered by a 351W that was stroked to a 427 putting out plenty of
power. Hooked up behind this small block Ford is a Tremec 5-speed
manual and transfers it all back to the bullet-proof 9" rear end.
Once inside this Daytona is when you can start noticing subtle
differences hinting to the fact it is a continuation car including
power windows and power locks, air conditioning, and firm leather
seats. As you fire up the 427 and set off on your drive, you will
be amazed at how streetable this car is. When driving it like a
normal driver it is smooth and comfortable ride, but as you start
to push it, the racing pedigree starts to show and is very
entertaining! The continuation series Daytona coupe is one of very
limited ever made and is sure to stay a hot commodity with plenty
of room for appreciation. This vehicle is located in our Denver
showroom. You can view this 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe in greater
