1975 Porsche 911 Wide Body Coupe
Garage Kept Motors is pleased to present this eye-catching 1975
Porsche 911 for consideration. This car was originally purchased
new in Germany with an All-Steel Wide Body kit installed in
Germany. It was done with perfection and is evident in the finish
still preserved today. The car was eventually brought to the U.S.
and ended up in our clients possession a decade ago. It is a very
unique vehicle and a great value at the price offered here,
considering the air-cooled 911 market has skyrocketed.
The car is currently powered by a 1978 3.0L H6 engine, replacing
the smaller 2.7L. The 5-Speed transmission is believed to match the
donor motor. The suspension was modified for track use and was used
briefly on the track before our client acquired it, hence the
vertical tach. Ten years ago, the clutch was replaced by Alan
Christian Motors, a German speciality shop in Holland, MI. Less
than 5,000 miles have been recorded since, although the odometer is
inoperable. Five years ago, the car was repainted in White, which
shows a nice finish today. The rear quarter vents were custom built
by previous owner and give this 911 a sinister look. Other upgrades
include new headlights, steering wheel, and some older but original
BBS gold wheels.
Again, this car has some awesome curb appeal with the German Steel
Wide Body Kit. The car needs a little attention here and there but
with some minor TLC, it has great investment potential. Or, just
drive it like it is and have fun. Whatever route you choose, you
can't go wrong with a classic 911 priced under $30k. Be sure to
