Vehicle Description
This original 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL underwent a comprehensive
restoration that left no part untouched. It was disassembled,
blasted, and the right front fender was replaced before the body
was repainted. The drivetrain was refreshed and sealed, and the
4-cylinder engine, 4-speed manual transmission and brakes were all
rebuilt. It is equipped with a new Weber carburetor, new right and
left rear axles, and new brake shoes, brake master cylinder,
driveshaft, bearings and seals. This matching-numbers convertible
has been garage-kept for the last 20 years and has 57,831 original
miles (the title reads mileage exempt). It rides on four new
whitewall tires and has an additional whitewall spare tire. The
interior features leather and the original gauges, all chrome
pieces were rechromed and it has been fitted with a new windshield.
