Vehicle Description
This one-of-a-kind 1966 Chevrolet Nova II SS was built by Kindig-It
Design from the ground up. Taking 12 months to build and finished
in 2017, this Nova is painted in Mercedes Hibiscus Red with
professionally chromed original trim and a Maxtel H4 light
conversion with built-in turn signals. It's powered by a
custom-built Nelson Racing 638ci aluminum-block engine with 96mm
twin turbos, backed by an ATI Powerglide 2-speed automatic
transmission. The engine bay has numerous modifications, and the
bottom of the car has a fully belly pan, hidden second radiator,
two transmission coolers and two fuel systems. The custom chassis
features independent front suspension and 4-link rear suspension
with Wilwood brakes. Body modifications include shaved emblems and
tightened bumpers, and the rear wheel wells were stretched 6". The
rocker panels were extended 2" with Kindig-It smooth door handles,
and a hidden roll cage was installed. This custom Nova rides on
Billet Specialties Reaper wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires. It has a
custom stainless exhaust, and the upholstery was professionally
done with Can Can Red leather. The interior features modified
Corbeau sport seats, Billet Specialties Fury 14" half-wrap steering
wheel on an Ididit steering column, one-off Dakota Digital gauges
and custom-built pedals. The Nova runs on regular pump gas;
however, 100-octane unleaded is preferred.
