Vehicle Description
This 1962 custom Corvette is finished in White Pearl tri-coat
utilizing white Deltron base coat, pearl Deltron mid-coat and USG
Glamor clear coat. This custom build sits on a Street Shop C7
chassis for a C1 Corvette that has been powder-coated Arctic White
to match underside of car, with 2017 C7 Corvette suspension all
around and QA1 Ultra Ride coilover shocks. It's powered by a 460hp
LT1 V8 crate engine backed by a Connect & Cruise 4L70E 4-speed
automatic overdrive transmission and equipped with a custom header
kit, MagnaFlow stainless-steel mufflers and polished
stainless-steel exhaust pipes exiting at the rear of the car. It
sports a stainless-steel fuel tank with an AE340 pump installed and
DeWitts custom aluminum radiator with HP LS series combo electric
fan and a Ball electric hood opener. The battery is located in the
trunk floor with convenient charging/jumping posts located under
the rear of the car on either side of the battery box. All of the
exterior stainless-steel trim has been triple show chrome-plated to
further enhance the look of this Corvette. The custom billet OEM
big wheels complete the classic appearance. Stopping power is
provided by monster Wilwood big brakes at all four corners with 14"
rotors, Wilwood tandem master cylinder, 6-piston front Aerolite
calipers, 4-piston rear Aerolite calipers and hydraulic brake
booster. The all-original no-hit body features a third taillight
that was added with sequential turn signals, added backup lights,
Corvette emblem projectors in the door bottoms and safety lighting
replacing the original reflectors in the door panels, a hardtop and
a custom Haartz Stayfast soft-top in Oyster White with "Corvette"
embroidered on both sides of the rear window. This �Vette's
interior features custom contoured seats covered in red leather
with "Corvette" embroidered in the seat backs. It also features
power windows and a modern electric wiper conversion, as well as a
Vintage Air heating and cooling system, Painless Wiring body
harness, custom steering column and Con2R steering wheels, custom
leather console with red backlit cup holders, Dakota Digital shift
indicator, polished stainless-steel rub strips on the floor carpet,
and a sound system consisting of a modern satellite-ready Wonder
Bar radio with MP3 ports, Bluetooth and power antenna. Speakers are
located in the kick panels and alongside each seat. There is also a
USB and conventional charge port below the glove box. The custom
leather padded dash features a complete Dakota Digital VHX gauge
system, including clock, panel dimmer and cruise control, as well
as a backup camera in the rearview mirror. This Corvette has only
test miles since its completion.
