The all-steel custom 1940 Ford UTE was originally only available in
Australia. This custom example was handcrafted and has 300 test
miles since it was completed. It was the winner of the 2009
Concours d'Elegance in Forest Grove, OR. With $273,000 invested in
the build, this UTE features a TCI chassis, and is powered by a
4.6-liter, Cobra SVT, 32-valve, dual overhead cam engine mated to a
5-speed manual transmission. It is loaded with luxury features
including power rack & pinion steering, power 4-wheel power disc
brakes, power windows, air conditioning and a leather interior. It
has a hand-crafted birdseye maple bed with gullwing doors, and
rides on Boyd Coddington wheels with Cobra center caps. It includes
a build book with all receipts and over 1,000 photos documenting
