This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by the original
350/255hp LT1 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and is
finished in Mille Miglia Red with a black soft-top. It features a
black leather interior, Soft Ray tinted glass, power brakes, power
windows and an AM/FM radio. It's riding on Rally wheels with
Goodyear wide tread F70-15 tires. This car was inducted into the
Bloomington Gold Special Collection in 1990 and earned Bloomington
Gold Certification in both 1990 and 1992, at which time it was also
awarded Survivor Certification. In 1993 it won both National NCRS
Top Flight honors with a 99.1 score, and the NCRS Duntov Award of
Excellence. This car was judged by NCRS a total of four times with
the highest score being a 99.3. The prestigious Chevy Vettefest
Triple Crown was added to the car's laurels in 2002, when it again
received Bloomington Gold Certification, followed by Survivor and
Benchmark Certification as well. In addition to the Tank Sticker,
this highly decorated final-year LT1 is documented with the
Protect-O-Plate, Bill of Sale, owner's card, the original keys and
owner's manual, insurance renewals and notarized affidavits from
the previous owners. It is unrestored and has 2,931 original miles.
