Vehicle Description
This 57 Chevy custom 2-door hardtop was a 4-year project, and has
been garage-kept and hasn't seen rain since its completion. It was
dismantled, sand-blasted and sealed, and the body worked to be
laser-straight. It was then finished in PPG base coat/clear coat,
wet-sanded and buffed four times. The body sits on an Art Morrison
frame with new Ford 9'' differential with new rack & pinion, new
4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, new tubular steel control arms with
Strange adjustable coilover shocks, and new 20" wheels and tires.
Body modifications included a one-off hood made of metal and glass,
custom one-piece bumpers and a smoothed custom firewall. For
motivation, an LS2 V8 engine was installed with new ceramic
headers, backed by a 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission. This
custom comes equipped with a heavy-duty 4-row aluminum radiator
assembled in an aluminum enclosure with dual coolant electric fans,
a stainless-steel fuel tank, Detroit Engineering wiring and rear
LED lighting. The interior features leather hides on the dash
panel, front door panels, custom front and rear seats, and the
trunk, as well as a Dakota Digital custom digital instrument panel,
power electric doors, remote electric windows and vents, and an
Alpine radio with navigation and hidden amplifier and subwoofer in
the trunk. The undercarriage has been detailed, painted and rubbed
out for a mirror finish.
