Vehicle Description
This professionally built 1962 Corvette Resto-Mod convertible was
the recipient of a no-expense-spared frame-off restoration and
finished in stunning black paint with a matching hardtop and white
soft-top over red leather interior. It sits on an Art Morrison
chassis with improved suspension, a lower center of gravity,
sharper steering response and modern-day ride quality. It comes
equipped with independent front suspension with power rack & pinion
steering, triangulated 4-link rear suspension, and Wilwood 4-wheel
disc brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers clamping
on powder-coated cross-drilled and vented rotors. Power is provided
by a professionally tuned and installed GM ZZ 383ci crate engine
putting out 425hp and 460 ft/lbs of torque. It features a GM
performance aluminum intake manifold with Fast Burn aluminum
cylinder heads, HEI ignition, braided hoses, polished accessories,
and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. A Tremec 5-speed manual
transmission with Hydromax hydraulic clutch is connected to a Ford
9" rear end with 3.50 gears. This Corvette rides on 17" Boyd
Coddington alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force rubber, and
features air conditioning, power windows, tachometer, battery
quick-disconnect switch and a Grant steering wheel.
