Vehicle Description
This 1958 Corvette convertible underwent a body-off restoration
nearly 25 years ago and has a rust-free chassis. It's finished in
new, correct Snowcrest White acrylic lacquer paint and is one of
2,477 made in this color. This Corvette is powered by its original
matching-numbers 283/270hp engine with dual-quad carburetors and
stainless exhaust, and a rebuilt matching-numbers BorgWarner
4-speed manual transmission. It has a hardtop only. All of the
exterior side stainless-steel pieces are NOS GM, not reproduction
parts. This �Vette has had the same owner for almost 30 years and
was the recipient of an NCRS Top Flight Award in 1993 with a score
of 97.1. It has been sparingly driven and well cared for since its
restoration. Of the 9,168 Corvettes built in 1958, 978 were built
with the 270hp option.
