Vehicle Description
This 1955 Corvette roadster underwent a nut-and-bolt restoration
with correct casting component tags, manufacturing paint markings
and part numbers. No reproduction or non-code-correct parts were
used, including the tar-top battery. It is one of 325 finished in
Polo White over a Sportsman Red interior, and features a beige top
and orange engine block, all of which are correct colors. It's
powered by a first-year 265ci V8 engine mated to a Powerglide
automatic transmission and a 3:55 axle ratio. This Corvette was
first presented for NCRS judging in 2014, with a raw score of 4,438
out of a possible 4,510 points. It has also won a Top Flight Award
with a score of 98.6 points.
