Vehicle Description
This 1948 Diamond T 509H custom slider tow truck is powered by a
2006 Dodge 5.9-liter straight-6 Cummins diesel engine with a 2006
overdrive 4-speed automatic transmission. It's equipped with a 2006
Dodge one-ton front suspension, 2000 International frame and a rear
end with rear air-ride suspension. Features include a Peterbilt
sleeper that was chopped 6" and narrowed 12", 16-foot slider tow
truck bed, aluminum Bud wheels, and art deco rear fenders and
taillights. This custom tow truck has been driven approximately
3,500 miles since the build was completed.
