of upgrades and modern improvements. During restoration a new
convertible soft-top was installed using German TUV-approved
materials. A fresh two-tone leather interior was installed,
including deviated stitching, stitched steering wheel, stitched
gauges and orange piping to match the body paint. Other new
additions and upgrades to this 4x4 diesel include power steering,
five new BFGoodrich tires, Brembo brakes, Ironman shocks,
headlights, high-performance radiator, eco leather for the back
bench and storage box, wide wheels, new LED taillamps, Sony marine
radio with Bluetooth and Sirius XM radio and water-resistant
speakers with a 12-volt socket. It also has a protective coating
underneath, new oils and new filters. Presented with 80,654
original kilometers (mileage not indicated on ownership documents),
this 1987 Mercedes-Benz 240GD convertible has been restored for
modern enjoyment and refinished in UV Matte Orange with black
leather interior with orange accents. It's powered by a 2.4-liter
4-cylinder diesel engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission,
