Vehicle Description
This custom 1968 C10 has recently undergone a complete,
professional, frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration with no expense
spared. It's powered by a 396ci big-block Chevy engine with FiTech
fuel injection, backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission with
overdrive. It's equipped with a 12-bolt rear end, 4-wheel power
disc brakes and air-ride suspension. The satin-finished engine bay
is dressed with slosh tubs, all hidden wiring, billet serpentine
system and coated headers with 3" Flowmaster exhaust. This 68 is a
factory short-bed pickup. The body was sandblasted to bare metal,
and professionally restored and finished in Cornish Cream base
coat/clear coat paint over a Mocha double-stitched custom interior
with bolstered seat and cup holders, and Kandy Copper paint on the
engine, transmission and miscellaneous suspension pieces. The
custom wood bed is stained in Jacob Bean with eight coats of
automotive clear and has a tilting center that is remote-operated.
The truck was painted in pieces and assembled with all-new cab
mounts, weatherstripping, seals, chrome trim, Euro gray-smoked
glass, and stainless bolts, screws and fasteners though out. It
rides on a set of custom two-piece billet copper 20" wheels and
tires.
