Vehicle Description
This 1938 Diamond T 3/4-ton pickup was originally manufactured in
Chicago, IL. It has undergone a high-quality rebuild and has spent
the last three years having all of the sheet metal refinished. All
of the panels were removed and repainted separately in
factory-correct Diamond T Red. The original Hercules 6-cylinder
engine has been rebuilt and rebored with a reground crankshaft and
new pistons, and is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. All of
the chrome is new or polished, and the chassis and engine
compartment are highly detailed. It sports all-new upholstery and
glass, a new exhaust system, rubber seals and wipers. The wiring
system is new and turn signals have also been added. The completely
restored box has a new highly varnished wood floor and polished
stainless strips. It rides on new Firestone whitewall tires mounted
on original cast wheels with split rims. This is a low-production
classic American-built truck.
