Vehicle Description
Pontiac's John DeLorean and his team were locked in a battle with
the other three domestic automakers to reign supreme in the muscle
car market. Determined not to be outdone, the 1967 GTO continued to
refine itself and marked the end of the first generation GTO. This
GTO is powered by a matching-numbers 400/335hp V8 engine, which was
introduced in 1967, backed by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission
with a Hurst dual-gate shifter. This convertible GTO features many
options, including factory air conditioning, power steering, power
front disc brakes, power front seat and a white power convertible
soft-top. It's been upgraded to Regimental Red complemented by a
Parchment interior. This GTO also features a wood-grain steering
wheel, Soft-Ray glass, bucket seats with a console, remote outside
mirror, 2.93 rear axle and an air-injector exhaust control. The car
has had a body-on restoration done on the original sheet metal, and
has been equipped with reproduction Hurst wheels wrapped in
Firestone wide oval red line tires. Built at the Fremont, CA,
assembly plant and sold new at Arnold Motor Company in Davis, CA,
this GTO comes documented with its original Protect-O-Plate
attached to the 67 original Owner Protection Plan and New Vehicle
Warranty booklet, along with PHS paperwork. Also included is the
original owner's manual, the original 1967 Folding Top Operation
booklet, an original 1967 Pontiac Accessories full-sized 53-page
booklet and an original, full-sized 1967 54-page brochure featuring
the Pontiac lineup for that year.
