Vehicle Description
This rotisserie restored 1968 Chevrolet 4x4 Resto-Mod pickup is
powered by a fresh 454ci V8 big-block engine, refinished in Hugger
Orange with hand-painted pinstriped valve covers. All pulleys and
brackets were powder-coated Gloss Black. The engine is mated to a
Turbo 400 automatic transmission and has a rebuilt NP205 transfer
case, new MSD ignition, Demon fuel delivery system and black
powder-coated Vintage Air. This truck has been sandblasted to bare
metal, body worked laser-straight and fully refinished in a PPG
Enviorbase Cement Gray and White Ice two-tone color scheme. The
entire truck has been wet-sanded and buffed for a mirror shine. All
chrome and stainless trim is brand-new with custom red line
accents. The inside of the bed was refinished with a wine-colored
wood floor. It has a custom hidden taillight gas filler, all-new
glass and Precision door seals and rubbers. It has an all-new
interior with tilt column, billet steering wheel and a Dynamat
sound deadening pad was applied to the entire cab interior. Carpet
was installed with premium thick insulation to eliminate heat and
road noise. The Porsche Red Wine leather interior features a
Snowden custom seat, full American Auto Wire kit, fit and wire
tucked to the truck, Classic Instruments gauge cluster, and a Retro
Sound stereo with Pioneer speakers and 10" subwoofer with handmade
fiberglass speaker panels. It has Fox 2.0 series shocks and
Ballistic steering with all-new bushings, ball joints, seals and
bearings. All the fuel, brake, vacuum, radiator overflow and
radiator hoses are done in stainless tubing. It is equipped with
titanium-coated headers, 3" full stainless-steel exhaust with
polished Vibrant mufflers and TIG-welded V-band clamps, and Wilwood
4-wheel disc brakes. This truck also features 20" Moto Metal
billet-forged wheels and 37" Toyo Open Country MT custom-made red
line tires. Every nut, bolt and bushing was replaced. Over 800
hours were invested in this build that left nothing untouched.
