Vehicle Description
This 1956 Ford F-100 big-window custom cab truck is a factory
R-code from the San Jose plant, where the majority of the trucks
were produced back in 1956. This truck came with a long list of
factory options, including two sun visors, dual armrests, factory
radio and speaker, overdrive, windshield washer with factory foot
pump and a factory side-mounted spare tire. It is powered by a
272ci engine and a 3-speed manual transmission, and has been
completely restored with no expense spared, from the hand polished
and fully wrapped MagnaFlow exhaust to the complete black-and-white
Connolly leather interior. The truck is sitting on a set of 17x8"
Vogue tires with a set of painted and polish Smoothie rims. The
black PPG paint is complemented by House of Kolor pigment-shifting
metal flake scallops. The build of this hot-rod-style truck also
comes with touches from the era, like the handmade stainless trim
under the big rear back window and the 1959 Cadillac frenched
taillights. The engine was not overlooked and received the same
period-correct touches, like the original 3x2 Offenhauser
carburetor set and the original Offenhauser valve covers. The
engine bay was also painted in the era-correct off-white. This
build was recently completed. A select offering from The Bryan
Frank Collection.
