Vehicle Description
This 1964 Nova Resto-Mod hardtop has 328 miles since the completion
of its professional, no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt restoration in
2015. The body is solid with no patch panels used in the build, and
all GM steel, with the exception of the blocked off gas filler
area, which is now in the trunk, and the customized cowl area. The
rear was mini tubbed, but the rest of the body is stock. The paint
base coat is Pearl White with Silver Gray accents and PPG clear
coat. All wiring is new. The interior features two-tone dash paint,
two-tone Bone White and gray vinyl bucket seats and a custom
console from front to back. The back seat is custom made for the
car. The interior is also equipped with a Classic instruments gauge
cluster, Flaming River stainless steering column and an aftermarket
AM/FM radio with four speakers. It is not equipped with air
conditioning or a heater. It's powered by an early �70s 454ci
engine, bored and stroked to 505ci and equipped with a SCAT
crankshaft with 9.5:1 compression, Forged rods, RPM Performer
aluminum intake, heads, high-lift cam, roller rockers, dual timing
chain and HD value springs. It also features an 870cfm Holley
Avenger carburetor, Pertronix ignition with rev limiter box and TCI
big tube ceramic-coated headers. The engine was built
professionally and pulls approximately 6,500 rpm. The transmission
is a custom-built TH350 automatic with shift kit, built to handle
approximately 650hp with a 2500 stall converter. The rear end is a
Currie 9" with 31-spline axles with 300 posi-traction. This Nova is
also equipped with a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans, battery and shut-off in the trunk, TCI front suspension kit,
power rack & pinion steering, coils with shocks and sway bar, TCI
full rear suspension kit with differential 4-link coilover and
heavy-duty Panhard bar, weld-on frame connectors and 4-wheel
non-power disc brakes with emergency brake.
