Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1977 AMC Matador Barcelona II Coupe.
This is one of only 97 vehicles produced with the complete
assortment of available options. It comes with the special two-tone
paint, a padded landau roof and opera windows. This vehicle is a
winner of an AACA 1st Junior and is currently nominated for an AACA
National Award- Only 60 of which are given out a year. Personal
intermediate coupes became hot sellers in the 1970's. Landau tops,
posh upholstery and power everything were the rage back then. The
Matador coupe drew critical acclaim from the automotive press and
it became a flying car in the James Bond movie, The Man with the
Golden Gun. The optional 360ci V8 engine with two-barrel carburetor
is included along with the Torque-Command three speed automatic
with a 3.15 geared rear axle. The engine is in pristine shape and
features an original radiator with 3 cores instead of the original
2 so it runs nice and cool. The factory air conditioner blows cold
air while the driver enjoys power steering, tilt wheel, cruise
control and power front disc brakes. The exterior, interior and
engine are all in excellent condition. Some of the upscale interior
options are the individual Nap Knit reclining front seats, color
coordinated door trim and headliner and AM/FM stereo. Additional
exterior options included tan grill surround, head light bezels,
rally wheel covers and body and insignias. This vehicle qualifies
for an optional 90 day ASC drivetrain warranty. We can arrange
shipping to your location. If you have any questions, please call
