Rare NB
Mostly left stock, kept clean, and treated correctly.
I installed coilovers for stance and staggered wheels (8"front and 9" rears) with new Nexen tires but never raced nor intended to race. She's been treated well. Other than above,, she's a stock SE. The Special Edition has a 6 speed manual with a Nardi leather shift knob. factory ground effects and tail, saddle leather, Nardi Italian leather steering. Bose adaptive with 6 disk cd. I did replace headlights due to haze being 20 years old. I bough real sheep skins $375 and $400 stainless luggage rack. This MX-5 has been spoiled. Garage kept it's whole life. Full fresh synthetics including diff, tranny , and even Royal Purple flush and coolant. It sits covered & garaged. I pumped these bad ass tires to 50 psi so no flat spots and the engine is run to temp EVERY month, then wiped down with quick detail then recovered. The fuel is ONLY Shell or Chevron 93 with stabil storage treatment and kept 100% full so no water vapor condensation. I installed a battery disconnect and install a new OEM battery Sep 2020 because Optimas dont fit correctly. All the equiment works great. The drivers seat is in good shape. I installed the sheepskins only because I like them, not to cover a worn out seat. I,m the 2nd owner but it was obvious that it had been pampered so I bought it instantly and babied it ever since. The top is in great shape . Tonneau also in great shape.
This is a VERY nice MX-5 NB! Dont want to part with her but dont want her to go over 50k miles. I will probably keep it because I love showing it but it would be nice to know it went to soneone who would also appreciate a rare and beautiful NB.
