Vehicle Description
1964 Ford Mustang Convertible For Sale - D Code 289 CI Engine LMC
is very proud to offer for sale this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible
From the beginning when Ford first launched the Mustang they
anticipated sales at the modest figure of 100,000 units.
Unbeknownst to them they had started a revolution in what would be
one of the most iconic vehicles in shape and name. Originally
offered in two body styles and three choices of transmission,
either a soft top convertible with the option of a power assist or
the hardtop. Power was sent to the rear wheels via a three or four
speed manual or a three-speed automatic. This 1964 Mustang
Convertible is a nicely restored car with the "D" code 289 small
block Ford engine mated to an C4 automatic transmission. It was
built in May 1964 making it a very early car and thus highly
desirable. The Springtime Yellow paint is complemented by the black
interior which is in very nice condition. The car comes equipped
with such features as power steering, Am radio, console and power
top. The engine compartment is detailed very nicely, and the new
owner would be proud to raise the hood at any car show. Completing
the exterior look are the styled steel wheels equipped with dual
redline tires. This special early production 1964 classic Mustang
is nice enough to be part of any collection or be driven for
enjoyment with the top down on the weekends. For either the classic
car collector or the enthusiast who is looking for a well cared for
eye catching summer time car is difficult to look past this little
yellow pony. Additional Details: 1964 FORD MUSTANG -
