A super-slick exterior, comfy custom interior, full suspension
upgrades, and huge turbocharged V8 powerhouse make this 1998
Chevrolet S-10 Pro Street one mean and green custom build.
We all can instantly see there was a serious investment in the
paint on this pickup. The Lime Green Metallic paint covers every
inch of the truck's sheetmetal, including the front bumper, side
mirrors, and door handles. It has the unmistakable shine of a
professional clearcoat, and plenty of it. This has a GMC front end,
but what you'll really notice is how the grilles are now a bright
billet - looking particularly nice with the billet wheels. And more
than just look great, features like the power dome hood, lowered
suspension, and ultra-wide rear tires tell the world this S-10
means business.
Inside are all the benefits of a nice extended cab S-10 with some
cool upgrades added. This includes comfortable velour split-bunch
with a fold-down armrest that creates the individual comfort of
buckets. There's even still a jump seat in the rear for an
occasional extra passenger. There are also nice comfort features
like modern R134a air conditioning, power steering, and a Pioneer
AM/FM/CD stereo with touchscreen interface. And the full green
graphics package around the dash and accenting the interior is a
great visual connection to the exterior. But what's going to
impress you the most is the race-ready substance. Your gauges have
been replaced by a Holley EFI digital display. This is supplemented
by important temp readouts on the A-pillar. Plus, that TCI Outlaw
shifter is a quarter-mile king. There's even a USB port to directly
link your laptop for tuning the motor.
When you open the hood, the slam panel is finished in a money
graphic just to remind you of the big investment here. The engine
bay is ready to show off with it smooth green firewall and a
graphics package that matches the interior. But this one also
instantly conveys that there is substance beyond the style. You
recognize it with that turbocharger sitting boldly off to the side
as the pipe force feeds the mighty V8. The 5.3-liter Vortec is
built to handle this power. It has Holley EFI fuel delivery system,
417 Motorsports high rise intake, Wiseco pistons, Eagle H-beam
rods, Bullet Racing cam, Comp Cams dual roller chain, roller
rockers, Merriel hydraulic lifter, Melling HD oil pump, Moroso
aluminum radiator w/electric fan, and more (call for the full
detail list.) This connects to a reinforced 4L80E four-speed
transmission that also features a FTI 4000 RPM torque converter. It
feeds a strong rear end with 1350 yoke and 35 spline axles. As you
can see from the tubbed rear, there's room for massive 18-inch
tires to grip the road. You also have a four-link rear with
diagonal bar and adjustable coilovers to keep this firmly planted.
Plus, the fully upgraded front end, lowered suspension, and
four-wheel disc brakes truly make this a custom that's ready for
the street or strip.
This is a total quality build (even the undercarriage is
color-matched.) So if you're looking for huge power with true
showmanship, don't let this custom pickup slip away. Call
