Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this unique bit of American
history in the form of a 1967 Jeep M725 field ambulance. The truck
is almost completely stock and it is believed that the 11k miles on
the odometer are accurate. The truck features a stock 230cid inline
six that runs through a 4-speed T98 manual transmission. It
features twin stick NP200 transfer case, Dana 60 front axle and a
full floating Dana 70 axle at the rear. The mechanics of this truck
are in excellent shape and the 4WD system functions well. The truck
runs on the stock 24v electrical system and the lighting is
functional. The olive drab exterior is particularly worn, but is
free of rot and major imperfections. The interior is stock and
features updated and recovered front seats. The rear features dual
barn doors, space for stretchers, rear ventilation system, and a
flip down ladder. The truck sits on painted steel wheels and the
tires received new inner tubes recently. It also has new batteries
and a recent oil change.
A rare find, this ex army vehicle saw little use and has been kept
in very nice condition. It runs and drives very well and will go
over everything, albeit very slowly. From work truck to overland
camper, the possibilities are endless for this cool piece!
