The 1930 Ford Model A Pickup was the next to last year of U.S.
production in a successful five-year run. Like many Fords of the
era, the Model A Pickup became a favorite of hot-rodders
everywhere.
This 1930 Ford has been built to an exceptional degree of quality
with all the modern amenities you could ask for integrated to the
classic design. If you are familiar with the original size of Model
A truck cabs, then you may already be wondering if you'll fit
comfortably in this truck. The answer is "yes!" The fiberglass body
was built with the cab extended to give more legroom to both driver
and passenger. The results are a truck that can win awards today
and is ready for the open road.
It starts with the paint color that falls somewhere between a
gorgeous burgundy and a brown. The paintwork is roughly 3 years old
and is stellar. The way the truck is photographed in the pictures
is EXACTLY how it appears in person. The body is a fiberglass body
that like we mentioned is extended to accommodate a stellar
ride.
Look under the hood and you'll find 350ci Chevy Small Block that
has been bored .060 and features a Callies 400 crank, Callies 6.0"
rods, flat top pistons, Dart cylinder heads, Edelbrock dual plane
manifold, Demon Carburetor, Comp Cam solid roller cam, and a Accel
performance HEI distributor. The engine bay is clean and tidy and
features all the bells and whistles you could hope for from any
true street rod.
Bolted to the engine is a 700R4 transmission with a 2000 RPM stall
converter that is built to withstand 600+hp. That transmission
sends power to a 9" Ford with 3.55 posi gears. Look at all four
corners and you'll be quick to notice the coil-over shocks and
4-wheel disc brakes that really complete the overall build of the
car.
Inside you'll find a gorgeous leather tan interior that will stand
the test of time. Equipped with tilt wheel, power windows, A/C, and
door poppers, this '30 Ford pickup has been meticulously cared
since it was finished less than 2,500 miles ago. Don't miss your
chance to own this one-of-a-kind beauty. Call Today!
