The fourth generation BMW M5 was introduced in 2005 and featured a
V10 engine, one of the first passenger car to be equipped with one.
Offered with an SMG 7-speed automatic transmission, as well as a
6-speed manual in the United States, the M5 was a technological
tour-de-force. Other unique M5 features include a wider track,
unique body panels, a color heads up display featuring navigation,
control messages, speed, rpm and gear selection information,
automated seat side bolsters, heated/ventilated seats and power
rear curtain. The remarkable V10 engine pumped out 500hp and had a
redline north of 8k RPM. The car hit 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and
could hit a top speed of 204 mph. Just 8,800 examples were sold in
the United States, making this one rare super sedan.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this exceptionally powerful
2007 M5 for your consideration. Finished in an understated Silver
Grey Metallic color, this M5 slips through traffic like a shark.
The paint and body are very nice and have just a few small stone
chips on the front fascia. Larger bumpers, 19in wheels, quad
exhausts, and small M5 badges are the only clues to the power
beneath. The black Merino leather interior is very nice and
includes a plethora of equipment and options. In addition to the
tons of M logos, this car has iDrive navigation, power heated
seats, power windows, heads up display, power moonroof, adaptive
headlights, M performance stability control, remote keyless go,
Logic 7 surround audio system, variable power steering, 4 wheel
vented and cross drilled compound brakes, electronic engine
management, and tire pressure monitoring system as just some of the
myriad options. With a window sticker of nearly $100k, this fully
loaded BMW performance sedan is a true wolf in sheeps clothes!
According to Jeremy Clarkson, former presenter of BBC's Top Gear,
"It's a world of motoring perfection. If you want to take it
on...don't bother. It doesn't matter what you've got. It doesn't
matter what you've ever driven. This is quicker, it's faster, it's
MORE astonishing. You just can't believe you're in a big 4-door
saloon because it goes and it feels and it SOUNDS like a Ferrari
430, and that's about the best car I've ever driven. The steering,
the brakes, the power. And this noise... The driving experience
just dominates everything.... It's an epic car, just
brilliant."
