This is a very clean 66 Chevelle SS 396, retains its original floors and body panels, painted "Super Slick" Laser Blue Metallic base coat clear coat sanded and wheeled smooth slick as glass, new tinted windshield - all other glass is original in very good condition, new weather stripping and windows felts, new correct bow tie side view mirrors, new wheel well trim, new emblems, new rocker moldings, new hood and eyebrow moldings, grill and grill trim is original in excellent condition, tail panel moldings and taillight bezels have been replaced, front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed - all other chrome and stainless is original in very good condition.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, retains original dash, original dash pad in excellent condition, factory gauge package - which all work correctly, factory knee knocker tach, direct fit AM/FM/Cassette stereo with period correct equalizer mounted under dash, 6x9 speakers nicely mounted in rear package tray, factory 2 spoke wood sport wheel, new headliner and visors, door panels and rear panels appear to have been replaced, front and rear seat covers have been replaced, optional front seat belts, original 4 speed console in very good condition with Hurst Competition plus shifter, carpet looks like new with floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have a strong running 396 which makes approximately 360 horse, heads have been reworks for NO-lead fuel, factory 4 barrel manifold with Holley carb, chrome valve covers and breather, updated with electronic ignition, original Harrison radiator with shroud, has original factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with chrome tips, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, front suspension has also been gone through, this strong running 396 is backed up with a Muncie M22 4 speed with Hurst Competition plus shifter, 12 bolt posi rear end with 331 gear, new fuel tank and sending unit.
Rides on a set of New 17 inch polished Ridler 695's 17x7 215/55/17 front and 17x8 235/55/17 rear.
