Vehicle Description
In 1980 the GTV6 was born, equipped with a 6-cylinder V-shaped 60 �
and displacement of 2492 cm�, with a power of 160 hp at 6000 rpm, a
camshaft for bank and electronic injection.
In 1981, the "Grand Prix" version was produced in 650, sequentially
numbered to celebrate Alfa Romeo's return to Formula 1. The
interiors were modified with: gray striped black velvet, red carpet
on the floor, a number plate with progressive number exemplar on
the dashboard, steering wheel covered in leather. And also the
aesthetics: body color only red, front bumper, rear bumper, front
wing and exterior mirror in the same color of the body, oversized
tires.
In 1983 a small number of GTV6 Grand Prix 2.5 were produced: they
were special specimens destined for Switzerland, France, Germany,
Sweden, Belgium, they come with an aesthetic kit signed Lester in
the colors: red, black, silver and on the sides we read the written
in identification sticker.
In 1984 only 100 GTV6 Grand Prix were produced for Germany, without
a numbered plate, without side bands, with gray striped velvet
inside and with the dashboard different from the Italian ones.
Unique example: Grand Prix version with the 3000 cc V6 engine.
Registered in Germany in 1984 by trainer Hacner. Plate and booklet
3000 cc original German. Lowered suspension, Zender removable rims.
Just repainted bodywork.
