For Sale at Auction: 1962 MG MGB in New York, New York
Very early and increasingly expensive MGB roadster
Collectors item for collectors.
In absolute competition stands! Highest quality restoration.
Better and nicer you will rarely encounter them in addition, this
MGB is one of the oldest that is left.
Worldwide 5th oldest MG B which is over 649, built in August 1962,
registered in 1964. Original left sent. In the recent past the MG
has undergone a complete restoration and overhaul. This restoration
was carried out at a high level with a great eye for originality.
The body has been completely white and has been radiated where
necessary.
Original hose clamps, ignition keys, NOS original new roof,
production dates on parts match and original folder.
Equipped with the original engine and bin.
The engine, gearbox, clutch, radiator and calipers are all
overhauled,
All chrome parts are again chrome so no imitation. The body has
fine fits and is sprayed at the highest level. The bottom plate is
completely as good as new without rust formation. Characteristic of
this Mg are the door handles as well as the original molded
radiator frame with no hole in it and rear bumper corners, (later
versions are different), the lack of sun visors, the rounded
corners oil cooler and so on. Beautiful unique details from the
very first mgb.
Even the number plates are the handmade authentic.
Meanwhile I drove 500 km with it. The MG also really drives like
new.
