Here it is up for sale is my 1965 F100 fleetside short bed! This is a true California truck built at the San Jose plant in 1965! I was told by the original owners family that I was the third owner. The man purchased the truck brand new and used for his landscape business in the Bay Area. The truck then sat for decades until it was discovered by his daughter in a storage unit! This truck is on the lines of a true barn find! She is solid throughout! I am told the odometer is correct which when I bought the truck there was about 68k miles on it! This truck has the original 352 fe big block which is still producing 40lbs of oil pressure! 60lbs of pressure at start up! This beauty is equipped with the 3 on the tree transmission! This truck was totally stock when I brought her home!
Upgrades: DJM dream beams 3” drop in the front with 2” drop Crown Suspensions coil springs also new king pins and shocks! 4” shackle and spring perch drop in the rear! The chassis is unaltered no C notch! Brand new Coker wide white walls front and back with a slight rubber rake “old school hot rod look” on Cragar custom deluxe wheels with bullet caps and bullet lugs! This little old shop truck is one of the cleanest rides on the road! No body cancer! All the rust is surface patina! I also have boxes of parts from Dennis Carpenter door handles control knobs windshield rubber door rubber brand new set of NOS Black Jack headers fat 1&3/4” tube! I also have the original wheels and the original I beams. The seat needs reupholstered and the old girl could use disc brakes and power steering! Other than that she is amazing!
